<p class="description">The black bear population is growing and they&#8217;re becoming an increasingly common sight throughout Northern Virginia. We had our first sighting of one in our backyard recently and we&#8217;re right on the edge of &#8220;civilization&#8221; not far from Dulles Airport. Black bears are here to stay so we need to learn more about them and what to do and <em>not</em> to do when we encounter them. </p>
